Jeannette Fleury of Hyde Park died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015.

She was the daughter of Henri and Yvette (Parent) Chauvin.

Jeannette married Glenn Fleury and the two embarked on 56 devoted years that were fulfilled by four loving children.

Survivors include her children, Deborah Edwards of Waterville, Lisa Nadeau of Johnson, Laurie Carpenter of Jeffersonville and Diane Leach of Stowe; her grandchildren Erika Magoon, Jamie Edwards, Cody Edwards, Jennifer Bugbee, Alexalee Nadeau, Anthony Nadeau, Catrina Carpenter, Jordan Leach and Alexandra Leach; seven great-grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Norman Chauvin, Raymond Chauvin, Jimmy Chauvin and Polly Manosh, all of Morrisville, and Jackie Locke of North Hyde Park; and many nieces and nephews.

Jeannette spent many years working as a seamstress for Concord Manufacturing.

She raised four daughters who were sports enthusiasts and she was a fixture at the sporting events of her grandchildren. She drew a special joy from attending church on Sunday.

Jeannette’s devotion to her family was apparent in her home, where the door was always open to friends who enjoyed her delicious meals, generous hospitality and caring ear. She enjoyed creating beautiful bouquets from her garden and Christmas wreaths from the family tree farm that she ran with her husband.

Later in life, Jeannette enjoyed putting her toes in the ocean in Ormond Beach, Fla., with the family and friends who visited her there. She so enjoyed all the Christmas cards that kept her connected with loved ones while she was away.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Feb. 6, at 11 a.m. at St. Teresa’s Church in Hyde Park. Spring burial will be in St. Teresa’s Cemetery.

Faith Funeral Home of Morrisville is assisting the family. To send online condolences: faithfh.net.
