John Francis Driscoll, 92, a prominent Boston attorney, died peacefully of natural causes on the evening of Oct. 31, 2015.

He was born in South Boston May 23, 1923, the only child of Cornelius and Mary (Curran) Driscoll. He graduated from Boston College and Boston College Law School.

For recreation, he spent his time sailing in Boston Harbor and skiing on the slopes at Mt. Snow and Stowe Mountain Resort.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who gave his all to his family. His friends and family will miss him, his quick wit, and his amazing ear-to-ear smile.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Annamae Driscoll; four children, Marian Kenseth and husband Evan, Michael Driscoll and wife Leslie, Neal Driscoll and wife Cheryl Peach, and Martha Driscoll and husband Anthony Passaretti; and eight grandchildren, Peter and Christopher Kenseth, Rebecca and Danielle Driscoll, John and Michael Driscoll, and Caitlyn and Sarah Passaretti.

A service to celebrate the life of John Francis Driscoll will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, at 11 a.m. at the Church of St. Paul in Hamilton, Mass. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a future date at Blessed Sacrament Church in Stowe.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of John Francis Driscoll to Arch Street Chapel, 100 Arch St., Boston, MA 02110, or Lamoille Community Food Share, 197 Harrel St., Morrisville, VT 05661.
