Students take advantage of STEM initiative

This year at Stowe High School there is a new class available to juniors and seniors called STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). As one might think, the class incorporates all of these different disciplines and blends them into one.

The half-year course lets students implement their own designs in the units they are studying. As junior Hayes Walker commented, “We do a lot of hands-on work, a lot of experiments that require engineering.”
