Graham and Christina Mink and Richard and Nancy Bennum are the new owners of the iconic Lackey’s Variety Store building at 109 Main St., Stowe.
The sale was finalized Oct. 15.
For six decades, Lackey’s was a consistent figure on Main Street, a favorite stop for local children and visitors interested in its lineup of candies, postcards, books, games, gifts and other items.
Frank Lackey said he is pleased that the building will be restored nearly to its original configuration and will again be an anchor in Stowe.
The new owners have already started retrofitting the 7,900-square-foot space and look forward to having retail back in the building as quickly as possible.
Ken Libby of William Raveis Stowe Realty represented the Lackeys; buyer Graham Mink, a sales agent at New England Landmark Realty, represented his group.
