The Stowe Education Fund’s annual evening of storytelling and jack-o’-lantern lighting will take place on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 5 p.m. on the steps of the Akeley Soldiers Memorial Building, 67 Main St. Listen to stories and enjoy fall refreshments by the light of the jack-o’-lanterns carved and painted by Stowe Elementary School students. Pumpkins are provided by Grenier’s Farm in Waterbury.
