Brynn on a list of open-water swim greats

The list includes contemporary aquatic adventurers from 18 countries and focuses on women who:

• Have done unprecedented swims of note or a significant number of risk-inherent channel, lake or marathon swims.

• Have proven themselves in relays, competitions and solo swims.

• Have safely escorted or coached many swimmers of various abilities in rough waters, with emphasis on women who have repeatedly swum in waters that are colder, rougher and longer than the English Channel.

“I am honored to be in the company of such swimming greats as Lynne Cox and Greta Andersen, to name just a few — the true pioneers of the sport, along with my fellow adventure swimmers of 2015,” Brynn said. “There is no shortage of adventure each and every time I step into the sea, lake or river, from swimming with dolphins and seals to enjoying amazing sunrises.”
