Charlotte Brynn of Stowe slices through 50-degree water in a glacial lake at the base of Mount Cook, which at 11,700 feet is New Zealand’s highest peak.

Charlotte Brynn has been named to the 2015 list of the world’s 50 most adventurous open water women by the World Open Water Swim Association.

Brynn, a New Zealander who lives in Stowe, is executive director of the Swimming Hole and head coach of Stowe Masters Swimmers.
