What’s more fun in the fall than a corn maze? They are a-maize-ing and corn-fusing, and most of all, a great way to spend a crisp day during foliage season.
Locals know there is great fun to be had at the Percy Farm corn maze, just off the Stowe rec path.
In addition to a challenging maze that takes most visitors about an hour, the Percy Farm also offers kids the chance to pet and feed some baby calves. To complete your Vermont farm experience, you can also purchase corn and maple syrup at the farm.
Pets are welcome, as long as they are on leash. And don’t worry if you are maze-challenged. The Percys keep track of everyone who enters the maze in a logbook so if it seems like it is taking you a long time, they will send someone in to look for you.
The maze is open through late fall.

Danville boasts The Great Vermont Corn Maze, which was voted the second-best corn maze in America. Located about an hour east of Stowe, the maze can be tricky, but is always fun. The maze hosts a frightfest Oct. 1, 2, 8 and 9 with a walk through a haunted field and buildings. The event is popular and sells out every year. Reservations are essential.
