Mark your calendars, ladies, and start putting together your wowee outfit for Stowe’s primo Ladies Night Out rocking event at — and to benefit — the Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum on Friday, Nov. 22. Be there, or else…

When event organizer Pascale Savard says, “The house will be on fire!” you know she means it — no one pulls out all the stops better than Pascale. Last year, the ladies rocked past midnight at the sold-out event. It’s a great evening to socialize, network, see old friends and make new ones.

The evening will kick off with a fashion show of ski and après-ski wear and accessories from Winterfell, AJ’s Ski and Sports, Well Heeled, Skiershop, Skida, The Nordic Barn, and Green Envy. The talented TRIP Stowe Dance Academy girls will model the ensembles. There will also be a live auction, with Nita Villareal as emcee and auctioneer, of vintage Bogner skiwear donated by Sandra Heath. Upstairs on the mezzanine there will be a variety of small trunk shows with jewelry, handbags and diverse boutique items that women covet.

The girls from Studio 108 will move the action up a notch with a Zumba dance routine, and then the awesome DJ with Super Tunes Entertainment will spin records. There’s nothing like a room full of women, from 25 to 75, having a blast and letting it all hang out without some guy’s eyes cramping their style. It’s just plain fun.

The ticket price is $50 if you sign up online, $65 at the door. The first 100 to arrive will receive a goodie bag of great stuff donated by local businesses. The price also includes terrific food donated by Sushi Yoshi, The Commodores Inn, Susanna Catering, Charlie B’s, Gracie’s, Sunset Grille, Trapp Family Lodge, Green Mountain Inn and Laughing Moon Chocolates. Yum. A goodly supply of wine has also been donated.

For out-of-town guests who plan to stay in Stowe for the night (and that is a stellar idea), the Commodores Inn is offering a special rate of $78. Call them direct at 253-7131 and mention the event.

Pascale says, “Rally up some friends, make this your girls party, and dance ‘til you drop!’”

Last year the event sold out, and everyone had such a good time it will sell out again. So register online at vtssm.com/events.
