Easter breakfast

A free breakfast will be held on Easter Sunday, April 5, and on the first Sunday of every month, from 8 to 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, 85 Upper Main St., Morrisville. All are welcome. Information: the Rev. Marisa Laviola, 888-2990.

Butterfly presentation

The Friends of Stowe Free Library will host Kent McFarland, a conservation biologist from the Vermont Center for Ecostudies, on Wednesday, April 8, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the library’s community meeting room; use the rear entrance. He will talk about Vermont’s diverse butterflies and a new online site called e-Butterfly. Light refreshments will be served. Information: 253-6145; itztru@gmail.com.

Sugar on snow in Wolcott

The annual “Sugar on Snow and Hot Dish Dinner” fundraiser will be held Saturday, April 11, at 5 p.m. at Wolcott United Methodist Church on Route 15. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children age 6 to 12 and children under 5 are free. Information: Linda Martin, 888-2746.

Horsemanship camp

A summer camp, Natural Horsemanship for Children, will be offered June 22-25, July 6-9, 20-23, and Aug. 3-6 from 9 a.m. to noon, as well as a full-day option, at the Center for America’s First Horse in Johnson. Children must be age 7 or older. Groups are limited to eight children per week. Natural horsemanship is a unique teaching system emphasizing each student’s relationship with his or her horse, based on trust and mutual respect.
