‘Guys and Dolls’ Miss Adelaide (Taryn Noelle, left, of Stowe) is distraught to learn that her fiancé of 14 years, Nathan Detroit (Dom Laporte, center, of Wolcott), is still running the “oldest established permanent floating crap game in New York” with the help of sidekick Nicely-Nicely Johnson (Doug McGown of St. Johnsbury) in a scene from Lamoille County Players’ “Guys and Dolls” at the Hyde Park Opera House. Performances are Thursday to Saturday, July 18-20 and 25-27, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 21 and 28, at 2 p.m. $18 adults, $12 students, seniors: LCPlayers.com; 888-4507.
