Jamie Lee Nelson

Jamie Lee Nelson, 29, of Noyes Road, Moretown, died at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010.

He was born in Berlin March 31, 1981, son of William E. Nelson and Debra (Caron) O’Neill, and attended Harwood Union High School in Duxbury, where he was on the wrestling team.

As a young man, he worked on several area farms, including Camp Navajo for Joan Stark, where he learned to enjoy horseback riding. He also enjoyed snowmobiling and fishing.

Survivors include his father, William Nelson of Moretown; his mother, Debra O’Neill of Barre; a half-brother, Shawn M. Wood of Massachusetts; his maternal grandfather, Theodore Caron of East Barre; and his extended family. A brother, Brooks A. Nelson, died earlier.

Services will be held Friday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. at the Perkins-Parker Funeral Home in Waterbury. Burial will follow in South Duxbury Cemetery. To send online condolences: www.perkinsparker.com.
