Two Randolph men are accused of having three pounds of marijuana in their vehicle as they traveled through Middlesex on Feb. 19.

Vermont State Police said they stopped the vehicle as it was heading south on Interstate 89 at 12:30 p.m. for having an obstructed registration plate. Devin Bagalio, 24, was operating the vehicle, and Martin Dalley-Wall, 23, was a passenger.

A trooper asked Bagalio for consent to search the vehicle but was denied. After a K-9 unit smelled drugs from outside, police seized the vehicle and obtained a search warrant. The subsequent search revealed three pounds of marijuana packed into a cardboard box, according to police.

Bagalio and Dalley-Wall are scheduled to appear in Washington County Superior Court on April 11 to face charges of possessing marijuana.
