June 8 at 3:55 p.m., citizen reported small dog inside a car with

the windows open, but no water, at the Shaw’s Supermarket parking lot. The dog was OK and owner notified.

June 8 at 5:54 p.m., request for an officer on lower end of Blush Hill Road.

June 8 at 6:55 p.m., foot patrol on Stowe Street.

June 10 at 7:56 p.m., small amount of marijuana and a pipe found in a vehicle after a traffic stop near Route 100 and Stowe Street.

June 11 at 1:20 p.m., parking problem at 3 Elm St.

June 11 at 7:40 p.m., false alarm at 1 Rotarian Place.

June 12 at 10:13 a.m., roommate argument at Stowe Street apartment, but no one wanted to press charges.

June 12 at 2:35 p.m., at the request of Vermont State Police, a Waterbury officer spoke to a man who’d been in a minor

car accident in Bolton to make sure he was uninjured and not under the influence. The officer determined everything was fine, but the man did seek medical attention.

June 12 at 5:08 p.m., minor accident at Route 100 and the I-89 northbound off-ramp.

June 12 at 6:26 p.m., resident at 64 S. Main St. was being verbally aggressive toward the staff at the house after being told he could not smoke on the front porch.

June 13 at 8:55 a.m., parking problem on Elm Street.

June 14 at 3:37 p.m., speed sign installed on North Main Street.

June 14 at 5:15 p.m., wallet found in Billings Mobil restroom was returned to owner.

June 14 at 7:24 p.m., assisted state police with combative man at 64 S. Main St.

June 14 at 7:29 p.m., at the police station, answered questions about a landlord-tenant dispute.

June 14 at 7:44 p.m., minor accident in parking lot at Shaw’s Supermarket.

June 14 at 9:06 p.m., foot patrol at Stowe and Main Streets.

June 15 at 12:11 a.m., assisted state police with drunken driving stop on Route 100.

June 16 at 8:14 a.m., hit-and-run at Shaw’s Supermarket parking lot.

June 16 at 11:36 p.m., foot patrol on Main Street.

June 17 at 5:28 p.m., asked WDEV to do a public service announcement, asking the public’s help in identifying the owner of a white cocker spaniel that allegedly bit a boy on Stowe Street. Police wanted to find out if the dog was up to date on shots. The owner was located and the dog had all necessary shots.

June 17 at 5:48 p.m., man complained his ex-girlfriend took her car, which had tires and rims he had purchased, and he didn’t want her using them.

June 17 at 7:01 p.m., responded to Stowe Street for a woman who was locked outside her home. The home was found in deplorable condition, with rats present. Case was forwarded to Waterbury Police Chief Joby Feccia and health officials.

June 18 at 2:31 p.m., accident reported to police for insurance purposes at the station.

June 19 at 2:24 p.m., car versus bike accident at 27 S. Main St. resulted in no injuries.

June 19 at 8:07 p.m., lockout at 21 Wallace St.

June 20 at 6:25 a.m., parents of girl allegedly bitten by dog at 1 Huntington Place called for a follow-up.

June 20 at 4:23 p.m., foot patrol on South Main Street.

June 20 at 9:06 p.m., officer arranged for a ride to Johnson for an alcohol rehabilitation patient stranded on Park Row.

June 21 at 1:41 p.m., verbally aggressive male at 64 S. Main St.

June 21 at 4 p.m., assisted Not Quite Independence Day organizers with hanging information in police station window.

June 21 at 8:43 p.m., 15-year-old reported missing after family member reported she failed to show for a campout with a female friend. The two girls were later located at a party near the end of Blush Hill Road and returned to their caregivers. Officer did issue one ticket at the party for underage possession of a malt beverage.

June 21 at 9:42 p.m., accident call on River Road in Duxbury transferred to state police.

June 21 at 10:53 p.m., another ticket issued for underage possession of malt beverage stemming from a juvenile problem on Gregg Hill Road.

June 22 at 12:26 a.m., intoxicated person kindly escorted from the Waterbury Reservoir.

June 22 at 4:50 p.m., assisted Waterbury animal control officer with call on Stowe Street about a dog tied up in a shaded alley with water. Dog owner was concerned that the animal control officer had no identification as a public official and started arguing. Officer defused the situation and found dog in fine health.

June 22 at 7:12 p.m., false alarm at 1 River Road.

June 23 at 4:45 p.m., foot patrol on South Main Street.

June 23 at 5:26 p.m., employee at 40 Foundry St. asked for help after receiving a bad check for $285.

June 23 at 10:04 p.m., noticed of eviction served at Railroad Street residence.

June 24 at 11:37 a.m., vehicle parked in front of hydrant and blocking driveway near 11 Elm St.

June 24 at 10:05 p.m., assisted state police with traffic stop of someone suspected of driving with a suspended license.

June 25 at 4:35 p.m., lockout at residence on Park Row.

June 26 at 12:57 a.m., call canceled for alarm at 1 Main St.

June 26 at 11:56 a.m., 911 hang-up call.

June 26 at 10:40 p.m., suspicious person/vehicle reported near 46 N. Main St. Car was gone upon arrival.

June 27 at 9:16 a.m., escorted Stowe Pest Control to 81 Stowe St. to collect traps.

June 27 at 11:33 a.m., parking problems near 3 Elm St.

June 27 at 11:56 a.m., gave a courtesy ride back to Montpelier for someone stranded in Waterbury.

June 27 at 5:08 p.m., investigation launched into allegation that one child had sexually assaulted another child; state’s Department for Children and Families alerted.

June 27 at 7:34 p.m., minor accident at Shaw’s Supermarket parking lot.

June 27 at 10:24 p.m., resident who recently moved to Waterbury reported her purse and checkbook had been stolen six months earlier in Berlin. The woman realized there was a problem when her bank called to say her checking account was overdrawn. Police told the woman she should have reported the incident earlier, but are still investigating.

June 27 at 10:34 p.m., Bernese mountain dog located by concerned citizen and returned to owner.

June 28 at 3:02 p.m., attempted to serve a trespass order to customer at 1 N. Main St., but were unable to locate the person.

June 28 at 7:44 p.m., found driver’s license and returned it to owner.

June 28 at 9:59 p.m., a car allegedly hit a pit bull near 1017 Waterbury-Stowe Road after the animal was spooked by fireworks and broke loose from its owner. The dog, named Baby, has not been seen since. Police and owners are asking for the public’s help in finding the dog. Baby is described as weighing 50 pounds and has brown brindle coloring. Anyone with information is asked to call 802-498-3500 or 802-371-7217.

June 28 at 11:21 p.m., someone was setting off fireworks by the train tracks.
