Whether you’re craving a loaf of freshly baked French or challah bread, a black-and-white cookie, a chocolate mousse cake or a fruit tart, you’ll find it at Harvest Market.

All baked goods are made daily on the premises of the gourmet shop at 1031 Mountain Road. The dessert cases at its espresso bar are brimming with treats perfect for a lazy brunch or a romantic picnic. Muffins, brownies, seven-layer bars, lemon squares and scones compete for attention.

The selection varies daily, based on the whims of the pastry chef and the selection of local ingredients. Baked goods can be made to order for parties and other occasions.

There’s almost always a line of eager customers waiting to scoop up loaves of brick-oven baked bread as soon as it’s placed on the shelves, usually by midmorning.

In addition to desserts, there’s a huge selection of cheeses from the artisan cheese makers of Vermont, cured meats from Italy, Spanish chorizos, patés and prosciutto. Harvest also sells lunch and dinner entrees, gourmet sandwiches and salads, wine and beer, Vermont specialty food products, and gourmet chocolate and candy.
