Wednesday morning, crews from MORE Specialized Transport helped remove Lionel Smit’s “Morphous,” the twin heads that adorned the lawn of the Helen Day Art Center as part of its Exposed. exhibit last year; they’re now headed for the Museum of Contemporary Art in Miami. The piece spoke to the dual identities felt by South Africans post-apartheid.
