Brenda Hammond, Copley Hospital’s human resources coordinator, has been honored as the Copley Team Hero for May.
This monthly award recognizes employees who exemplify the hospital’s values of community, respect and compassion, service excellence, and life-long learning.
Hammond was nominated by the entire human resources team. “Brenda handles every request with a professional demeanor and gets the task done. She is the hub of our team,” said Amy Fitzgerald, vice president of human resources.
Hammond has been part of the human resources team since October 2015. She lives in Enosburg with her husband and their beef cows, dogs and many cats and kittens. Reading is her favorite activity. She started dabbling in painting two years ago and enjoys paddleboarding, kayaking and hiking.
