Hyde Park Home Day will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21, from noon to 3 p.m.
The parade down Main Street starts at noon at St. Teresa's Parish Hall. After the parade, the Hyde Park VFW will lead the Pledge of Allegiance near the county courthouse and the Lamoille River Swingers will hold a dance.
While listening to music by Abby Sherman and Mountain County, enjoy free tea and scones at the Town Tea Tent in front of the courthouse.
Bring apples to make cider with Michael Wickenden in front of the sheriff's department.
Get a tour of Hyde Park while enjoying tractor/wagon rides by Davis Hill Farm.
Children's activities will be provided by Lamoille Family Center, Lamoille Regional Solid Waste Management, and others.
Food includes Nepali cuisine, hamburgers and hot dogs by the fire department and onion rings, french fries and canned soda by the VFW and Auxiliary. Both will be providing canned soda.
Visit the many vendors and information booths on Main Street, including the Lanpher Memorial Library’s annual book sale, and enjoy ice cream sundaes at the Opera House.
There will be handicapped parking in front of Fred's Import Specialists. Main Street will be closed during the parade.
Tickets will be available for the Hyde Park Community Circle raffle.
