Donna Lynn Van Marter, 68, died in peace on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at her home in Enosburg.

She was born Jan. 26, 1951, in Mount Kisco, N.Y., daughter of Elizabeth D. and George J. Van Marter Sr.

Survivors include her son, Luke Van Marter-Brown, and his mother, Sara B. Brown, of Burlington; two brothers, George J. Van Marter Jr. and wife Wynn of South Salem, N.Y., and Richard A. Van Marter of Bridgeport, Conn.; a niece, Melissa Van Marter Rexford and her family of Grand Isle; a nephew, George James Van Marter III and his family of Crested Butte, Colo.; and a host of great-nephews, cousins and dear friends.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 22, at the home of Christian and Anne Dymond, 215 Hardscrabble Road, Milton, Vt., from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Light fare will follow the celebration ceremony.

Donations may be made in Donna’s memory to the Jenna Tatro Memorial Fund, 159 Foote Brook, Johnson, VT 05656. Donations will benefit Jenna’s Promise, a nonprofit, community-based addiction recovery center in Johnson.
