Mary Corley Harris, 74, of Wolcott died peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, with her family by her side.

She was born in Morrisville June 28, 1944, daughter of Evelyn Ruth (Baumgardener) and Robert Townsend Corley.

On July 12, 1964, she married Maynard Bradley Harris; her beloved husband died May 18, 2012.

Mary worked on her parent’s farm for 20 years, was employed at the Wolcott town office as a clerk, and worked in accounting for Ben & Jerry’s from 1985 to 1998.

Mary loved spending time with her family. She had a special place in her heart for God and all her dear friends, whom she considered like family, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

In her free time, Mary enjoyed volunteering, working in the garden, doing puzzles, playing shuffleboard, swimming in the pool and walking. She also liked to travel and particularly enjoyed spending time in Hawaii.

Survivors include her children, John Corley Harris and spouse Tracy, Jeffrey Scott Harris and partner Deanna, and Belinda Clegg and husband John, all of Wolcott; her grandchildren, Nicholas Allen, Chelsea Harris, Taylor Harris, Derek Clegg, Shelby Clegg and Devven Bingham; and her sister, Patty McLean, and her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, a son, Bradley Harris, and great-grandson, Greyson Jeffrey Templeton, died earlier.

The funeral was held Friday, June 21, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Morrisville. Burial was at the Fairmont Cemetery in Wolcott. Faith Funeral Home assisted with arrangements. To send online condolences:
