Terrance “Terry” Patch, 71, of Hyde Park died Thursday, June 20, 2019. at the Greensboro Nursing Home with family by his side.
He was born in Burlington May 1, 1948, and lived in Hyde Park his whole life. He attended Hyde Park Elementary School and Lamoille Central Academy.
In his younger years he was employed at Atlas Plywood and Prunier Motors, and worked for Ed Lefevre doing Porta-Potty rentals.
Terry enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and birdwatching.
Survivors include two daughters, Terri Ann Merchant and husband Michael of Irasburg and Patty Patch Limlaw and husband John Sr. of Hyde Park; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; his siblings, Marcia LaLonde of Tempe, Ariz., Donna Turner of East Montpelier, and Emma LaBree, Richard Patch Sr., Eric Patch Sr., Marilyn Horner and husband Larry Sr., and Kenneth Patch and wife, Eleanor, all of Hyde Park; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents died earlier, Clayton Patch in 1968 and Gladys Patch in 2002; an infant brother, Clifton, died in 1952.
Friends may call Friday, July 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Faith Funeral Home, 165 Brooklyn St., Morrisville. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 13, at 11 a.m. the 2nd Congregational Church in Hyde Park. Burial will be in Jedediah Hyde Cemetery.
