Sunday, June 16, is Father’s Day. The message will consider how fathers and mothers differ in the way they relate to their children and why this is a good thing.

On Sunday, June 30, there will be no 9:30 morning service at the North Hyde Park church. Instead, we will all be joining together at the 11 a.m. Eden church musical hour service. This has become a big hit, with many talented local musicians participating. We hope that you will come to enjoy this service too.

Then, planning ahead, on Saturday, July 20, the Eden church will have its famous chicken-pot-pie supper fundraiser at the church.

Looking further ahead, Vacation Bible School will run mornings from July 29 to Aug. 2 at the North Hyde Park church, with Charlie and Carol Reed leading the program. Great crafts are planned.

Welcome to both Sunday services on Father’s Day: 9:30 a.m. for the First Congregational Church of North Hyde Park, and 11 a.m. for the Eden Congregational Church. Wishing everyone a Happy Father’s Day!
