Starting on July 13, the men and women’s groups will meet on the second Saturday of the month at 10 a.m.

Pastor Ron Doyle’s message: “Be Spirit Filled.” (1) The baptism in the Holy Spirit is God’s promise to us (Matthew 3:11; Acts 2:1-4; Acts 2:16-18). This is one of God’s great promises to us, and God is always faithful to keep His promises. (2) The baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift for every born-again believer (Acts 2:38-39; Acts 9 and 10; Mark 15:17-18). These Scriptures are being fulfilled today as believers throughout the church age continue to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. The last days began with the early church and continue until Jesus returns. We refer to this as the church age. (3) The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift we need to ask the Lord to give us. ( Luke 11:13; Romans 8:9; John 20:22; Acts 1:4; Acts 1:8; I Corinthians 12 and 14; Ephesians 5:18) We need to be filled with the Holy Spirit so we will have the power to live a victorious Christian life and to be witnesses for Jesus in the day and age we live in.

Thought to ponder: Without the Holy Spirit moving and working in the church, the church is dead. It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. (John 6:63)
