This Sunday’s worship is based on Mark 4:26-34, where Jesus talks about “mustard seed” faith that can do things even greater than Jesus could.

Sunday school and youth groups are suspended until September. This summer, children and youth are encouraged to help with community dinner and Breakfast on Us. Child care and children’s messages during worship continue all summer.

We serve meals all year round: community suppers on the last Friday and breakfast every weekday. In May, we served 680 breakfasts. We’re seeing some new faces as well as our “regulars.” We’re looking for some volunteers to help when people are on vacation. You only have to sign up for one morning at a time, since there is a different team every day. It is a great way to start your day.

The Lamoille County Youth Center after-school program had its last day on June 7. We will resume in early September. We averaged between 15 and 25 youth per day. We appreciate the many donations from our community partners! Along with a safe place and two reliable adults who are always present, the food is the most appreciated aspect of the Youth Center by the kids. Thank you to Program Director Bonnie McDermott and to Carol and Kristine, the paid staff. The Youth Center is a secular program, housed at our church.
