We invite you to join us for worship at 9 a.m., and come as you are, wherever you are on your spiritual journey.

Pastor Mike Thorpe celebrated All Saints Sunday by focusing on the scripture from Luke 6: 20-31, the description of blessings and woes, reversing the beliefs of most folks in society. Jesus “knows we will all know sadness, hunger, loneliness and loss on the way to the kingdom. … He reminds us here that this is not permanent. All that we suffer in his name is temporary, for in following him we will eventually receive our reward; we will be blessed because we are already blessed.” See Pastor’s Mike full sermon on our website: wolcottvtumc.org.

We also lighted a candle in remembrance of all the members and friends of our congregation who have passed from this world to the life they will have beyond this world.

Our missions focus over the next month will be the collection of food items for Thanksgiving baskets.

Work on framing of kitchen walls and insulating the walls in the fellowship hall will begin soon. Please follow the progress on our website (see above). If you wish to help, donations may be sent to WUMC, P.O. Box 94, Wolcott, VT 05480 or by clicking on the “Giving” tab on our website.

If you need the services of a pastor, you may call/text Pastor Mike at 802-355-9574.
