We invite you to join us for worship at 9:30 a.m., and come as you are, wherever you are on your spiritual journey.

Robin Genetti led worship as we celebrated Pentecost Sunday, when God sent the Holy Spirit upon Jesus’ disciples, and they were able to speak in different tongues/languages, allowing everyone who had gathered in Jerusalem for Pentecost to hear the Gospel preached in their own language.

The Holy Spirit continues to speak to us today in a variety of ways and “tongues,” empowering us to continue to share God’s love with all whom we meet in our day-to-lives. See Robin’s full sermon on our website: wolcottvtumc.org.

Our Tuesday night group will meet next on June 25 at 6 p.m. at Arlo Sterner’s. We will be studying Chapter 6 of our study book, “Simon Peter.”

On Saturday, June 29, we will hold an indoor yard and bake sale at the Wolcott Town Hall. Proceeds of the bake sale will benefit Lacing Up for Cancer and proceeds of the yard sale will benefit our ongoing historic restoration fund.

If you have items that you would like to donate to the sale (no clothing, please), we will be open at the Town Hall on Friday, June 28, 11 to 1 and 4 to 6. If those hours do not work for you, please contact Sherry Anderson at 888-7836.

In the meantime, if you need the services of a pastor, you may call/text Pastor Mike Thorpe at 802-355-9574.
