To help people stay warmer this winter, the Craftsbury, Greensboro and Glover energy committees will host a DIY Home Weatherization Workshop on Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Craftsbury Public Library, 12 Church Lane, Craftsbury Common.

Learn methods of air sealing and the different insulating covers for windows; how to seal doors; how to insulate and seal an attic door; methods of eliminating backdrafting in range hoods and bath fans; how to use an aerosol foam canister and caulk gun to seal up air leaks; how to apply extra insulation in an attic; and what tools, products and incentives are available for detecting and fixing air leaks and insulation voids.

Free door and window weather stripping will be available from Efficiency Vermont, and aerosol foam cans will be given away as door prizes.
