Property-tax bills in Eden are ticking up just a hair. The Eden Select Board set the tax rates Sept. 10.

The tax rate for a primary residence this fiscal year is $2.2542 per $100 of property value, up 2 cents from last year.

The tax rate for second homes and businesses also inched upward from $2.3149 last year to $2.3274 now.

The tax bill for a primary residence valued at $100,000 will increase $19.60 to about $2,254.20. The bill on a business or second home valued at $100,000 will increase $12.50 to $2,327.40.

Eden property owners pay their tax bills in three installments, due Nov. 15, Feb. 15 and May 15.
