Lamoille Housing Partnership is hosting its second annual Harvest for Housing this Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Legion Field in Johnson.

The affordable housing nonprofit will hold its annual meeting first, starting at 4 p.m., then will host a ticketed dinner to benefit its housing work in Lamoille County and in Hardwick.

Anyone interested is welcome at the annual meeting, where topics include current projects, a chance to meet the partnership’s staff and board members, and learn about becoming a board member yourself.

The ticketed portion of Harvest for Housing starts at 5 p.m., and is also open to the public — though only 100 tickets are available. Elmore Mountain Bread will serve a wood-fired pizza dinner with salad and sweet treats, beer and non-alcoholic beverages, live music by the Dale and Darcy Trio, and a raffle. The dinner will be cooked in Johnson’s community pizza oven, and the menu will incorporate local ingredients.

Local businesses are sponsoring Harvest for Housing.

Tickets are $25 for adults, and $12 for children; each ticket includes dinner, drinks and dessert. All money from dinner and raffle tickets go directly to Lamoille Housing Partnership to help create and preserve affordable housing for low- and moderate-income people.
