Bryant Griggs, 29, of Eden Mills pleaded not guilty to aggravated sexual assault on a victim under 13 years of age and lewd and lascivious conduct with a child (see related).
Joshua Boomhower, 30, of Wolcott pleaded not guilty to domestic assault and first-degree attempted arson.
Nichole Smith, 26, of Hardwick pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of false pretenses or tokens.
Steven R. Menard, 35, of Sharon pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence, second offense.
Joseph Brendon Moodie, 38, of Craftsbury pleaded not guilty to driving after criminal license suspension.
Jeremy Barbour, 38, of Johnson pleaded not guilty to DUI No. 1.
Corey Barry, 32, of Waterville pleaded not guilty to DUI No. 1.
Steven Shea, 66, of Waitsfield pleaded not guilty to DUI No. 1.
David Vlahos, 37, of Waterbury Center pleaded not guilty to DUI No. 1.
Peter Fosse, 27, of Cambridge pleaded not guilty to DUI No. 1.
Derrick Leblanc, 37, of Abington, Mass., pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of drugs.
Cases decided, week of July 29
David C. Smith, 57, of Jeffersonville pleaded guilty to lewd and lascivious conduct on April 24 and was ordered last week to serve 18 months to 3 years on probation.
Zachary Goodell, 29, of Morrisville pleaded guilty to DUI No. 1 and leaving the scene of a crash and was ordered to serve 6-18 months on probation. Goodell was also fined $300 and ordered to pay $1,000 in restitution. A charge of careless or negligent driving was dismissed at the prosecution’s request.
Christina Benson, 43, of Hyde Park pleaded guilty to domestic assault. Sentencing was deferred for 6 months.
A charge of driving after criminal license suspension against Kaitlin Davis, 24, of Walpole, NH, was dismissed at the prosecution’s request.
