A portion of Pumpkin Harbor Road in Cambridge will be closed during the day beginning on Monday, Aug. 19.

The road will be closed to all traffic between Bartlett Hill Road and Morey Road from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Aug. 19 through Aug. 22.

Crews will build up that portion of the road as part of a larger project to raise the road surface up above regular flood levels.

Pumpkin Harbor Road will be open to the intersection with Bartlett Hill Road. Drivers should follow local detour signs. Periodic closures of Pumpkin Harbor Road will continue until the project is completed, and from time to time the road will be reduced to one lane of alternating, one-way traffic.
