To the Editor:

Coats for the Morrisville Rotary Coat Drive were accepted by Lamoille Laundry Center in Morrisville from Sept. 24 to Oct. 2 and beyond. Thank you, Keith Clark and your team.

We received or purchased new youth coats through the Holy Cross Knights of Columbus, the Holy Name Parish Social Action Ministry, the Hardwick Kiwanis, and our Rotary club.

Coats were available for folks to pick up on Oct. 19, 20 and 21.

Of the remaining coats, a generous donation was delivered to the Barre Salvation Army with others going to the Hardwick United Church Second Chance Shop and the Hyde Park Community House, a winter adult homeless shelter in Hyde Park village.

Thank you to Rotarians and friends: Ernie Menard, Stefanie Capizzi, Deanna Wood, Cassie Dewey, Rich Jacobs, Gary Nolan, Susan Sinnott, Sherry Lussier and Josh Smith.

Hand-knit scarves again came from Joie Marshall and hand-knit hats from Gail Kaiser.

The Lamoille County Sheriff’s Department generously donated coat hangers for our Rotary Project.
