Six members of the 2019 Lamoille Union High School girls lacrosse team have been named to Division 2 All-State teams.

Senior midfielder Morgan Burnham, an offensive force for Lamoille for the past four years, was named to the D-2 All-State First Team after helping lead the Lancers to a 7-5 regular-season record and the Division 2 quarterfinals.

Another senior, attacker Ryley Cota, and junior goalie Wenzdae Wendling both made the Division 2 All-State Second Team.

Three Lancers — midfielder Renny Cota, attacker Addie Martin and defender Dailyn Judkins — all made the all-state honorable mention squad.

Ryley Cota and Burnham were also selected to play for Vermont in the Twin State Game, a showcase matchup featuring the best senior lacrosse players from Vermont and New Hampshire. Cota plans to play in the game but Burnham is unable to attend.

Two underclassmen, Renny Cota and Phoebe Loomis, were both selected to play in the Vermont Rising Stars game, another showcase that features the best young lacrosse talent in the Green Mountain State.
