The final regular season standings, and the playoff bracket, are set after the final week of play in the Hardwick men’s softball league.

The Wolfpack, which had already locked up the No. 1 seed for the playoffs, rallied from a 4-1 deficit to beat Buffalo Mountain Powersports in the bottom of the ninth, 5-4. The loss knocked Buffalo Mountain from the race for the No. 2 seed.

The Outlaws claimed that No. 2 seed with a 9-2 win over another team chasing it, the Snakes. The Rebels locked up the No. 3 seed with a 13-2 win over Local Electric and the Knights beat the Luddites, 13-8. The Country Boys had a bye.

In action Aug. 27, the Wolfpack thumped the Rebels 11-1, Buffalo Mountain Powersports beat the Country Boys 10-6, the Snakes beat the Luddites 12-2 and the Knights beat Local Electric 10-9. The Outlaws had a bye.

The playoff tournament is this Saturday, Sept. 7, in Garfield.
