Six members of the 2019 cooperative baseball team from Peoples Academy and Stowe have been named to the Mountain League All-League teams.

Seniors Nick Holbrook and Max Carr were named to the Mountain League First Team, senior Lou Angione and junior Joe Buonanno made the Mountain League Second Team and senior Eben Osborne and sophomore Hayden Frazee were named to the Mountain League honorable mention squad.

League coaches vote on the all-star teams.

Carr led the team with 22 hits and scored 22 runs. His .531 batting average and .642 on-base percentage also led the team, and he had four doubles in his final season.

Holbrook, back on the team after a year off, had one double and two triples as part of his 19-hit senior season. He scored 21 runs, hit .475 and had an on-base percentage of .553.

Buonanno finished second on the team with 21 hits, and had a batting average of .468 and an on-base percentage of .586. He scored 17 runs, third on the team.

Angione was a starting pitcher this year, his first back from a major knee injury, and also had 12 hits, scored 12 runs and had a batting average of .365.

Osborne also collected 12 hits and 12 runs on the season, hitting .280, and Frazee hit .303 while serving as one of the team’s primary pitchers during his sophomore campaign.
