The 14th annual Remembrance Run to benefit the Sigrid Bronner, Trace Santos-Barber and Chris Ludington Scholarship Funds will take place on Sunday, June 9, at 9:15 a.m. at Peoples Academy in Morrisville. Walkers are welcome.

The youth race starts at 9:15, offering a choice of 1-mile and half-mile routes for kids 12 and under. It is named the Ludington Mile in honor of Chris Ludington, who was one of the original organizers and promoters of the initial Remembrance Run in 2006.

All proceeds will be split evenly among three scholarship funds established in memory of Sigrid, Trace and Chris. Funds have been used for student scholarships for educational, sports, music, theater and many other programs.

All entrants are eligible to win raffle prizes, and division winners earn Darn Tough Socks and glassware.

Race information and online registration is at remembrancerun.net. Race-day registration is available beginning at 7:30 a.m., but the entry fee will be higher. Remembrance Run Inc. is a nonprofit organization and welcomes donations.
