A pair of upsets churned up the top half of the standings in the Hardwick men’s softball league.

Local Electric beat Buffalo Mountain Powersports 15-9 and the Country Boys outlasted the Wolfpack, 14-12.

The Rebels beat the Luddites 14-7 to move a game ahead of the Wolfpack in first place, the Outlaws beat the Knights 20-1 and the Snakes had a bye.

In games played the week before, on July 2, the Knights got their first win of the year, 22-13 over the Luddites. The Rebels beat Local Electric 24-8, the Wolfpack beat Buffalo Mountain Powersports 7-5, the Snakes beat the Outlaws 5-4 and the Country Boys had a bye to close out the first half of the season.

Games are played every Tuesday on fields in Garfield, Wolcott, Greensboro and East Hardwick.

Rebels: 7-1

Wolfpack: 6-2

Buffalo Mountain Powersports: 6-3

Country Boys: 5-3

Snakes: 5-3

Outlaws: 4-3

Local Electric: 3-6

Knights: 1-8

Luddites: 0-8
