Thought for the Week: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5 (NIV).

This month, at our traditional service at 9:30 a.m. and our contemporary service at 4:30 p.m., we will continue our “Journey With Jesus” through the Gospel of Luke. We are a multidenominational church and all are welcome. If you cannot attend a Sunday service, you can watch a livestream of either service on our website, stowechurch.org.

The Greater Stowe Interfaith Coalition invites the community to participate in a vigil on July 12 from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Stowe at 1189 Cape Cod Road, Stowe, to protest the inhumane conditions faced by refugees in detention centers. The event is part of Lights for Liberty vigils that will be held worldwide. Speakers will include local clergy, elected officials and community leaders.

Join us for a Picnic at the Parsonage any Wednesday at 6 p.m. through the rest of the summer. Bring meat to grill, a dish to share, and a beach chair (just in case the number of participants outnumbers our chairs). If it rains, we will picnic indoors.

Sharing Is Caring: Offerings for the Lamoille Community Food Share can be placed in the collection box located in the narthex anytime. Many in our community, especially children, are hungry. Please help!
