What could be more fun than a couple of young people playing fiddle, accordion, mandolin and piano?

Alexander Allison and Sebastiaan West perform as representatives of Young Tradition Vermont in the final free Gazebo Concert, presented annually by Stowe Performing Arts, on Tuesday, Aug. 13, from 6 to 7 p.m. on the lawn of Stowe Free Library, 90 Pond St. if it rains, the concert will move to Stowe Community Church on Main Street.

Allison and West are winners of the annual Young Tradition Weekend contest and are core members of the touring group’s trips to Ireland, Cape Breton, Scotland, Japan and New York. The focus of Young Tradition Vermont is on young people, traditional music and dance. Come hear this entertaining sampling of their programs.
