Stowe police and Vermont State Police fire investigators are still looking into what caused three fires in Stowe this spring.

Two fires late March 30 destroyed a business building at 638 S. Main St., the remains of which have since been demolished, and damaged the Helen Day Memorial Building at 90 Pond St., which houses Stowe Free Library and Helen Day Art Center.

A third fire April 18 damaged Stowe Chiropractic at 14 Pond St.

All three are being investigated jointly by the two police agencies, and officials said there have been no arrests in the fire cases, and they still have no suspects.

Anyone with information about the fires is asked to call Stowe Detective Sgt. Fred Whitcomb at 253-7126.
