Louise Arnold

Artist Louise Arnold’s studio will be among the stops in the annual tour of workplaces of Caspian Art’s members on July 21.

The annual tour of Caspian Art’s members’ studios in Hardwick, Craftsbury, Greensboro, Albany and West Glover will take place Sunday, July 21, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Maps and information are available at The Miller’s Thumb in Greensboro or at caspianartsvt.com.

Studio visitors can see the space where creativity happens and chat with the artist to learn about the artist’s inspiration, tools and special processes and techniques. Understanding how an item is made adds to the enjoyment of owning a unique piece of locally produced art.

A $100 art certificate will be awarded to three studio visitors. Tickets are collected at each studio and the drawing for the winners will take place at the Caspian Arts gala opening reception on Thursday, July 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the East Craftsbury yellow barn (2606 E. Craftsbury Road), which will feature a special guest appearance by well-known local entertainer Rusty DeWees.
