Karen Winslow is currently exhibiting her paintings daily through July from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Copley Woodlands, 125 Thomas Lane, Stowe.

Winslow has been a professional artist since 1970, with diverse careers including fashion illustrator, courtroom sketcher and art instructor.

She paints landscape, still life, floral and portrait painting and sells through galleries.

She moved to Cambridge, Vt., in 1979 and established the Winslow Art Studio with her husband, and fellow artist, Jack. This year Winslow Art Studio celebrates its 40th year.

“The beauty of creation is revealed through its ever-changing light and mood, and although elusive, is always inspiring, and it continually compels me to pick up a brush.”
