Backline Collective will perform at Tuesday Night Live on July 24 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Legion Field on School Street in Johnson. Musicians include Ben Dunham with Jonas Eno van-Fleet, Luke Auriemmo, Ira Friedman, Paul Miller, Andy Suits, Willa Mamet, Burr Morse, Jeff Guerin, Alex Gill, Tom Morse, Brandon Klarich, and maybe others. Tuesday Night Live is free and family-friendly. Bring a blanket or chair. The Johnson Historical Society offers slices of homemade pie, German chocolate cake, grilled McKenzie hot dogs, and fresh-made potato salad. Other vendors will provide additional food choices. Only lightning and thunder will stop the show. Parking is along School Street, in the elementary school parking lot, Beard’s Recreation Park lot, and at the McClelland Building on College Hill.
