The Eleva Chamber Players, Central Vermont’s only professional string chamber orchestra, will present “BIG. BOLD. BEAUTIFUL” on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. at the United Church of Christ/Waterbury Congregational Church, 8 N. Main St., Waterbury, and on Sunday, Nov. 11, at 3 p.m. at the Valley Players Theater, 4254 Main St., Waitsfield.

The Waitsfield concert will include a pre-concert reception at 2:30 p.m. featuring Vermont foods and wines by North Branch Vineyards. The concert explores music mostly from the Baroque period written with multiple soloists. Featured soloists will be the flutists Karen Kevra and Ceora Jaffe, along with Eleva’s concertmaster John Lindsey, who will lead a performance of Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 4. The program will also include works by Vivaldi, Handel, Corelli and Elgar. Admission is $20 and $10 for seniors, students and members of the Vermont Philharmonic or Montpelier Chamber Orchestra. Students of the Green Mountain Youth Symphony are free. Tickets will be available at elevachamberplayers.org and at the door.
