Stowe Jazz Festival

Stowe Jazz Festival returns Sept. 6, 7 and 8 with its main stage once again at Alchemist Brewery, and satellite events at venues throughout Stowe. The three-day celebration of jazz gathers nearly 100 artists from around the globe, across all sub-genres of jazz — from bebop and swing to progressive jazz, Brazilian and Gypsy jazz. And, unlike most music festivals, it’s all absolutely free. “I set out to create something that shares my love of jazz, and hopefully this festival truly brings the joy of jazz to anyone who wants to be a part of it,” said event mastermind George Petit, an award-winning musician and recording engineer/producer. Some of the acts will include the Chico Pinheiro Quartet, Donny McCaslin, Allison Miller’s Boom Tic Boom, Ebhino Cardoso, Ralph Lalama, Rachel Eckroth, Catarina dos Santos, Paul Asbell, Bruce Sklar, Giovanni Rovetto and dozens more.
