Salvation Farms Aid

Salvation Farms Aid, presented Friday, Nov. 1 at ArtsRiot on Pine Street in Burlington, features favorite Vermont musicians covering the music of past Farm Aid performances. The lineup includes Marie Claire performing Bonnie Raitt, Bill Mullins Band performing The Kinks, John Fusco with the X-Road Riders performing John Mellencamp, Seth Yacovone performing Neil Young, and Blues for Breakfast performing Bob Dylan. The show benefits the Morristown-based nonprofit Salvation Farms, which works with farmers and partners to salvage and move wholesome, locally grown food to those in need of nourishment. Doors open at 7 p.m., and music starts at 8. The show is suitable for all ages; $20 entry. A silent auction includes a signed, framed Phish poster, books from Chelsea Green Publishing, a stay at Jay Peak Resort and more. Tickets and info: artsriot.com, salvationfarms.org.
