The Last Waltz

An All-Star recreation of The Band’s classic 1978 concert film “The Last Waltz,” featuring The Rev Tor Band and local musicians, will perform the songs of the film’s original special guests on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center in Stowe. The show features renditions of hits by The Band featured in the film including “The Weight,” “Up On Cripple Creek” and “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down,” as well as songs by Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Eric Clapton and more. Vermont performers include Cooie DeFrancesco (Bardela), Chad Hollister (who’s opened for Bob Dylan), Phil Hyjek (The Suspects, AmerikanaBlue), Bud Johnson (The Kind Buds), “Harmonica Bob” MacKenzie, Christine Malcolm, Rick Redington and Bow Thayer.
