Yankee Brass Band

The Yankee Brass Band uses rare and authentic period instruments and is outfitted in uniforms suitable to the 1800s.

On Wednesday, July 17, at 7 p.m., the Waterbury Historical Society hosts a performance of the Yankee Brass Band at Thatcher Brook Primary School, 47 Stowe St. in Waterbury. The band last performed in Waterbury in 2016.

For 33 years, the 25-member Yankee Brass Band has championed the cause of “historical informed performance,” using rare and authentic period instruments and outfitted in uniforms suitable to the mid to late 1800s.
