The Vermont Authors Fest returns for a second year to the Craftsbury Farmers Market on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 10 to 1 p.m. at Craftsbury Common. The gathering brings together more than 35 of Vermont’s best authors in fiction, nonfiction, adult, fantasy, poetry and children’s genres for book signings, Q&As and discussion. Books will be for sale, or bring your own for signing. Come to meet your favorite Vermont author or discover new ones, including Vermont’s Poet Laureate Chard deNiord and bestselling authors John and Jennifer Churchman of the Sweet Pea & Friends series. Admission is free; a raffle to win attending authors’ books will benefit the Craftsbury Public Library.
