“Stories Told Behind the Barn” with Bill Torrey will be presented Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 7 p.m. at the Waterbury Public Library.

Torrey’s talk was snowed out last month.

Torrey, a sixth-generation Vermonter, woodsman and author, will tell true stories about growing up in Vermont and working for 40 years in the hills of Vermont.

Torrey has won four Moth Story Slams in Burlington, three Extempo Competitions in central Vermont, and New York’s North Country Public Radio’s Black Fly Story Slam. His first book, “The Ta Ta Weenie Club,” was released in 2016. His second book, “Working Out of It,” comes out this year.
