The 91st annual Chapin Family reunion will be held Saturday, Aug. 17, at noon at the Hope Davey Shelter, Maple Street, Waterbury Center.

The Chapins are descendants of Samuel Chapin, who arrived from England in the 1600s and settled in Springfield, Mass. The first reunion was held in 1925 at Robert Hill’s home in Stowe.

A potluck lunch starts at noon; bring a dish to share.  A program will follow, along with activities and much sharing of family histories.

Anyone interested is welcome to attend. Bring a chair. More information: Betty Jones at 244-8089.
